I honestly can't believe it's already March 1. How did this happen? January went by really slow (it was a bad month in the life of Cori), but February just flew on by. I guess time flies when you're having fun? I can kinda believe it though. February was a great month!
So what's on the agenda for March?
* Mardi Gras!
Not gonna lie, I've never celebrated Mardi Gras before. However, it's a new year, a new me, and there's a Mardi Gras party happening tonight, so when in Rome... or in Hickory... whatever works! Don't worry boyfriend, there will be no flashing!

* Getting away for a long weekend
Sometimes, you just need to get away. This couldn't be happening at a better time. Now as long as the potential ice storm stays away... *crossing my fingers*

* Getting ready for April Market
It's almost time for High Point Market again. I kinda have a fear of market now since I almost broke my ankle at October Market. I will be staying away from stairs. For the next couple of weeks at work, we will all be preparing for the lovely first week of April.
* March Madness!
March Madness is one of my favorite events of the year. I love filling out my bracket and having an annual contest with my favorite people. I pretty much sucked last year. I think it's time to redeem myself. Go Heels!

* Momma's Birthday
My sweet Momma will be celebrating her birthday on March 12th. She has that day off of work, so I'm sure we will do something to celebrate that night... and the weekend after also!
* First day of Spring!
I don't know about all of you, but I am beyond ready for some warmer weather! The past week has been somewhat of a tease as the temps have gone up to 65 for a couple of days. If it would just stay warm, I would be a happy girl! I know it's coming soon though.

We've had pretty good weather here, thank goodness! I'm not craving Spring as much as I was a few weeks ago when it was super chilly. Have fun with March Madness- it's obviously huge in NC, but since SC doesn't have many good college basketball teams, I don't think people here really care. Now, that baseball game this weekend is a huge deal for people...
You have SO much to look forward too! How exciting!
Long weekends are the BEST!
I'm so happy that we ended up having a little bit of Spring after that heck of a winter!
