Happy Wednesday everyone! I've been stuck at home all day with a lovely sinus infection. I had to miss our fun company Christmas party today. My co-workers said it was blast, so I'm a little bummed. I definitely need to get back to work tomorrow. I feel bad for my co-workers who are going to hear me coughing and sniffling all day though. Ick!

Happy Monday everyone! Since I'm exhausted from finals and work, I don't have much time for a post today. 3 hours of sleep last night just didn't do it for me, so I'm going to get in early tonight! I definitely need my rest since I'm currently working in the land of germs. There are so many people at work who are sick. I'm trying to think healthy thoughts and hope that they keep it to themselves!

2 Weeks Until Christmas!

Well, another weekend has come and gone. So much to look forward to this week!

The Christmas party at church went well. We had some yummy food and JP's neighbor made the most amazing peppermint cake! Of course, I love all things peppermint, so I was in love! It was so so so good! After the party, we went to look at Christmas lights. That's one of my favorite things about Christmas... the lights! It was a very fun night! However, I didn't get a pic of JP and I! Major fail! I'm already committing to doing a Project 365 next year. It's where you take a picture for every single day of the year. Hopefully that will get me into the spirit of documenting more events through pics.

With that said, I finally took some pics of my apartment Christmas decor!

I'm definitely not an interior decorator, but it's fun decorating for Christmas!

I'm about to take one of my finals and then watch KKTNY.

Totally random: After seeing myself in a recent photo, I just realized I need to start back on the workouts, pronto! I've been so busy with work, school, blogging, and having a life... I've neglected my own self. I always fall out of my good workout routines. I have to make it a habit, otherwise my weight will keep going up and down.


Also, I've had to subscribe to all your blogs through Google Reader since Blogger has been ridiculous lately and keep erasing the blogs I'm following. If I've missed some of your posts, that's why.

Ten on Tuesday and My New Best Friend!

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's been a really long day, and I'm just getting home for the evening. The good news is that I found this new little beauty when I got home tonight. 

My new Erin Condren planner and I are pretty much BFF's already. It's an organization freak's dream come true!

I'm also excited about the return of Teen Mom 2 tonight. Yes, I'm obsessed with the Teen Mom drama. Don't judge me! :)

For once, I'm finally finished weeks before Christmas! It's a great feeling! All I have to shop for now is my Holly Jolly Swap Secret Santa.

Nope, I participated in Cyber Monday. Got a cute puffer vest, a Henley, and a gift for my Mom.

9. What’s one holiday tradition your family has?
Opening one gift before Christmas. I've always loved that one! :)

I've subscribed to so many, I lost count!

Another weekend down...

Happy Monday everyone! The weekend went by way too fast, but what else is new? I finally got most of my Christmas decorations up on Saturday. I still have a little bit to do, so I'll post pics when I'm all done!

I had a blast shopping yesterday with my Momma and JP. We're getting pretty good at finding great deals! We went to the outlets in Blowing Rock and then went to Boone to have lunch. It was a great day!

Momma had been promising me for months that she was getting me a Coach bag for Christmas. So, we made our first stop at the Coach store. They had awesome deals! We were handed a coupon for 30% off and then an extra 10% off. They had some clearance items that were 50% off, so you do the math... :) She ended up buying me 2 bags for less than the price of 1. It was awesome! I bought her a little travel bag for Christmas and she also got me a coin bag. We did awesome! I love that store! I'll post pics after Christmas since I can't see my lovely Coach bags until then.

I also bought some cute gloves that were 50% off at J. Crew. I totally wanted this very cute headband, but I decided that I needed to save some money. It was a great trip!

I was so tired when I finally got home last night. I watched some episodes of Felicity on Netflix and then watched KKTNY before I went to bed.

My Pokes didn't make it to the National Championship even thought they slaughtered Oklahoma Saturday night. It made me sad, but they will be playing Stanford and that should be a great game. Can't wait to see all the bowl games! If you didn't know, I'm a huge sports fanatic!  There's nothing a better than a good football or basketball game! :) I also love baseball, tennis, and volleyball... hehe!

It was back to work for me today. It was a productive day! I'm ready now to catch up on blogs and watch some TV before I call it a night.

Happy Friday! 12/2

Happy Friday everyone! I am exhausted from work and an evening of shopping and dinner at Olive Garden with my Momma. I bought the warmest plaid flannel PJ pants and cute wool socks at Kohl's. They are so comfy. I love them! The food at Olive Garden was awesome as always. I could live off the salad and breadsticks. Now it's almost 11:00, and I'm ready to settle in for the night.

I'm sorry if I've missed some of your blog posts. Blogger is being ridiculous and the blogs that I'm following keep disappearing from my reading list. Apparently it's a known issue that they're trying to fix, but it's getting very annoying.

1. What is your favorite Christmas decoration in your house?

Well, let's pretend that I've already decorated mine. I plan on doing this tomorrow. I always love the lights and stockings on my mantle.

2. Do you finish your Christmas shopping early or are you a last minute type?

Usually I'm the one who is out on Christmas Eve trying to finish up. Thankfully, I got all of my shopping done before December 1st this year. This is definitely a first, and I love not feeling stressed about it this year.

3. When do you turn on your heat?

I'm pretty lucky. The fireplace in my apartment gives off a lot of heat and can pretty much heat up the whole apartment. However, I usually end up having to turn on the heat in late December/early January.

4. Do you ever wish your blog was private?

No, not really. I don't feel as if I have anything to hide.

5. Do you put your deodorant on before of after you put on your shirt?

After. I'm scared it will get on my shirt if I do it before I put it on.

Well, we made it to Thursday! I'm so ready for the weekend. After work tomorrow, I have plans to go shopping with my Momma. Then on Saturday, I have plans to finally decorate my apartment for Christmas. I think it's sad that I've decorated my office before my apartment... hehe! I guess that shows you that I spend more time there than at home.

Summer (my bestie, co-worker, and now supervisor) and I decided to buy Christmas decorations during lunch because our office was looking very dull. So at 5:00 when everyone went home, we started decorating the office. It's nothing much, but it does add a ton of Christmas spirit! Hope everyone will like it when they come in to work in the morning.

I also decided to give my blog a Christmas makeover! I changed the layout a couple of times because I couldn't decide on one. I love anything peppermint, so I thought this was very fitting.

We did this to everyone's cube and gave everyone a stocking. This is my lovely cube!

Oh, How Pinteresting! 11/30

Wow, I can't believe today is the last day of November. This year has flown! It just gets worse as we get older! I wish life would just slow down a bit. 

I'm just gearing up for a night of basketball watching. My Tar Heels are playing at 9:30. Hope I can stay awake that long. I also need to finish some Art Appreciation homework. Only 2 more weeks until the end of the semester. That's so hard to believe.

Ten on Tuesday 11/29

Happy Tuesday everyone! It is so cold out today! I'm warming up in front of my fireplace with a hoodie on, the warmest pants I could find, and my favorite kitty cat blanket. I'm about to drink some hot cocoa too. It was so cold in my office today also. I don't think I took my jacket off all day. I passed on lunch at Olive Garden just so I could come home and warm up. That tells ya something right there... hehe! With that said, I do believe my hatred for Winter is coming to an end. I would rather have my fireplace going and sipping hot cocoa or coffee rather than burning up. Also, I love the winter clothes! They're just too cute!

1. Do you wear glasses, contacts, or are you one of those perfect eyed people?

I don't wear glasses or contacts. I haven't been to the eye doctor in a couple of years, but the last time I went, they were perfect. I passed the eye chart exam when I got my license renewed last year, so they can't be that bad :)

2. What is the next item you are going to purchase?

Probably makeup. I'm addicted to all things Sephora, and I'm in "dire" need of some new makeup.

3. Have you ever watched Judge Judy or any other real court show?

I've watched Judge Judy before. It was OK. Nothing that I would watch regularly.

4. How do you feel about fake nails?

I used to have fake nails in high school, but now I stick with the real thing. My nails are pretty healthy.

5. What is your favorite sport to watch?

Basketball. Absolutely love it!

6. If you could create your own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, what would it be and what would it be named?

Oh gosh. Well, it would most likely have Mint in it. Not sure what I'd combine it with. I'd call it Mint Condition... hehe!

7. Do you have any scars?

Not that I know of.

8. Does your pet’s name fit them? Is there a more appropriate name?

We got my cat Ron from one of my Mom's friends. His name was already Ron, and surprisingly, it fits him. JP named our dog Buddy because we had just finished watching Elf, plus he looked like a Buddy.

9. What is your favorite television show theme song?

The New Girl. It's so catchy... hehe!

10. What was your favorite activity on the playground?

Swinging!

Happy Monday! 11/28

Happy Monday everyone! It was rough going back to work after a long weekend. It was especially rough since I absolutely could not sleep last night. I wasn't sleepy, but I decided I had better get in bed at midnight. However, that wasn't such a good idea. I don't think I fell asleep until 2:30. It was awful! Needless to say, I've been very sleepy all day.

It was difficult getting back into the swing of things at work, but I did accomplish quite a bit. I have a deadline coming up on Friday, so I'm trying to wrap that project up. I had lunch with the bestie and one of my co-workers at Rancho Viejo. Yummy Mexican food!

Before I left work for the day, I made my cube somewhat festive for Christmas. It's only a cute little silver tree, and a purple ornament box of Kleenex, but hey... I don't have much to work with here... hehe! You can also see my Sid the Sloth collection and a My Little Pony that JP gave me a few years ago. Also, my cute little cooler that keeps my drinks cold during the work day.

I also hung up a pic of JP and I from last Christmas.

I also added a couple of Christmas stations to my Pandora since it is now appropriate to do so! :)

Did anyone else take advantage of Cyber Monday besides me? I bought this adorable puffer vest and turquoise thermal shirt. Even though Aeropostale is mostly geared towards teens, you can find some really cute stuff on the site.
